
Our garden is ablaze with colour.
This little narcissus was photographed through a
4+ Diopter Lens, showing how the petals glisten
in the bright sunlight.

Lovely! And, again, I’m fascinated by the similarity in colour between the flower and the leaves, and wonder what pollinates these guys.

Lost somewhere in the mists of time spent in botany class was the thought that flies (often hoverflies) pollinate narcissus.
It’s worth doing a web search, as the subject is vast.

Moths are also important pollinators in certain climates.
