A month getting round the World for sport,
using air, sea and road transport systems has left
me with a carbon footprint that is that of a giant
mammoth.

    Ahh, yes. The Carbon Footprint. Sigh. Me, I wonder: would being Vegetarian not just be better? After all, eating meat is one of the larger “footprint” items … despite the fact that it doesn’t show up on many calculators.
