Visitors to Dublin flock to admire the Georgian squares and mansions. However there are also may streets where fine Victorian buildings may be admired.

This photo is beautiful. It looks like a painting. Is it photo-shopped? Whatever. It's gorgeous.I've heard about Dublin's charms of course, though I've never been there. It will be interesting to see what you make of it for those of us not lucky enough to have visited.

  2. The street in question is traditional red brick, commonly used by the Victorian and Edwardians. The trick is to use custom white balance to shift the hue within a photo. Normally one is expected to use a grey card as a standard for setting white balance, but the following post explains how some very artificial effects can be made:"http://shortsights.blogspot.com/2010/12/custom-white-balance.html#links"I think you would enjoy Dublin. It is a very friendly city and visitors from Britain find it quite similar to their provincial cities, which have very similar architecture.I'm delighted to have found your blog. Many thanks for taking time to post.
